El Zalate
San Jose del Cabo
El Zalate is located on the southwestern edge of San Jose del Cabo on one of the best walking beaches of Los Cabos. Playa Costa Azul stretches between km 28 & 29 and is recognized by the World Surf League for swimming and surf beach. Great swimming, snorkeling and surf casting in the fall through winter and several beaches and point breaks in the spring through the summer when the south swell arrives to offer fabulous surf experiences for any level of expertise. International Surf Competitions held every June.
El Zalate is walking distance to surf schools and rentals, restaurants, beach cantinas, smoothie and coffee shops, shopping and grocery markets, medi-clinics, bus stops, and taxi stands.
